Controversial actor Hady Ssengo has laughed off reports that she was dismissed from Uganda’s oldest drama group, the Ebonies.
“I love Social Media….the only place where rumours and lies are taken for the truth. Hihihihihihiii I can’t stop laughing. My name is the most trending thing in Uganda’s entertainment industry. How I love my life.”
This was accompanied with a link of one of the stories that have been written alleging that she has been dismissed.
“I am on Facebook to have fun. That’s exactly what I am doing. Surely, my name has turned into a bigger brand! I don’t think there is any Ugandan celebrity who has got as much attention as I have…… Walayi I am unstoppable!” Hady brags.
The reaction follows reports that she was dismissed by the drama group over misconduct.
A local tabloid, Red Pepper early Thursday reporting that Ebonies management reached the conclusion of firing Hady days before flying to UK, where they are slated to perform.
The dismissal was attributed to her social media wars which “are painting a bad image to the group”.
Hady has of late been involved in online exchanges with people mostly in the entertainment world among who include, Urban Tv’s presenter Mary Luswata and WBS Tv’s morning presenter, Luzze Anderson.
