The candidates will be nominated and voting will take place thereafter. The results will be announced that on the same day.
On Monday, the UPDF spokesperson, Lt Col Paddy Ankunda, said the army has already started the process to replace Gen Sejusa with some names already being fronted, although he could not reveal the names.
Sejusa was also the former Coordinator of Intelligence Services will before he fled into exile after alleging that President Yoweri Museveni was grooming his son to take place the presidency.
Gen Sejusa alias Tinyefuza was thrown out of Parliament in 2013 after he missed more than 15 sittings of the House, leaving only nine representatives of the UPDF in Parliament.
