The Rules, Privilege and Disciplinary committee of Parliament has decided to use the evidence provided by the witnesses to decide Gen Sejusa’s fate.
This committee was directed by the Speaker of parliament Hon. Rebecca Kadaga to investigate UPDF renegade Gen. Sejusa’s conduct.
This follows the committee attempts to have Gen Sejusa appear to defend him as to why he had missed Parliamentary even after he was ordered to appear to defend himself.
“while using this evidence we will ensure no loophole is left to exploit in the event he wants to turn down the decision of parliament in courts of law” said committee chairperson Fox Odoi.
The probing committee of parliament into the conduct of UPDF representative in Parliament renegade Gen. David Sejusa has finally backed off plans to have the renegade general appear before the committee to answer queries about his behavior conduct.
Sejusa has been in the news since April, when he fled the country.
Shortly after, the media reported a dossier in which he demanded an investigation into a rumoured plot to kill top army and government officials opposed to the alleged presidential ambitions of First Son Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
