Wasswa Bbosa Reveals Express Fc’s Season Target

Probably none could predict that Express can attract players with Uganda topflight experience to play for them next season.

The arrival of players like Samson Ceaser Okhuti, Richard Kigozi, Mike Mutyaba, Sula Bagala, Issa Lumu, Ayub Kiiza and Ronald Ssekubomba has surprised many.

Head coach Wasswa Bbosa says that he does want his team to finish in the top four regardless of other club’s investments during the transfer.

“They might have spent a lot of money and they are still spending to bring in new players, but Express is not such kind of team which can give huge money to player to sign a contracts however the target for my team next season is to be in top four,” said Bbossa.

Last season, despite having demoralized good players, the team finished 8th in Uganda Premier League.

After the departure of their long serving captain Willy Kavuma who joined Soana FC, Bbosa has announced striker Julius Ogwang as the new club captain. He will be deputized by new comer Mike Mutyaba.

Bbosa however advised the Express FC top management to take a lesson from SC Villa so that the club can perform even better than expected.

“SC Villa actions football wise like mobilizing fans should be wake call to Express top management and I believe the team will shine. I humbly request fans to come back for their team Express because supporting is not just a mere talk,” added Bbosa who has been the team’s head coach since the departure of Frank ‘Vedeo’ Anyau in 2013.
